A quiet week this week, except for the Pet Shop Boys; although, like most ’80s acts, they no longer seem able to trouble the singles chart even with a widely acclaimed single like The Pop Kids, their latest album Super enters the chart at number 3 this week, giving Neil and Chris their sixteenth top ten album.

Formerly one half of Everything But The Girl, Ben Watt releases a solo album Fever Dream. Also out today is Confide In Me, a compilation of tracks from Kylie Minogue‘s difficult mid-’90s period, plus double disc compilations The Very Best Of The Associates and Hold Me Now: The Very Best Of Thompson Twins.
